Great Southern Foil Fest 2026

The event

Four days of foiling in the Great Southern. Great Southern Foil Fest is the flagship event of WAFA’s first season, bringing Prone and Foil Assist riders together for competition, community sessions and plenty of social foiling in between. Pack the quiver and come down for the weekend.

Categories

Competition categories are Prone and Foil Assist, with divisions catering for all ages and abilities. Chase a result or just see how you go against the rest of the state, either way there’s a division for you.

The weekend

It isn’t all heats. Activities across the weekend include community downwind runs, social foiling sessions and gear demos, open to riders of every level and not just competitors. Turn up, get wet, and have a go on something you haven’t ridden before.

Location

Great Southern Foil Fest 2026 runs across various beaches in the Great Southern region near Denmark, Western Australia. The final site is called daily on conditions, so keep an eye on WAFA’s channels each morning for where everyone is heading that day.
